A trailer for Shining Force: Heroes of Light and Darkness has appeared, and it focuses on gameplay. Game developer Vespa has uploaded this new trailer to its official YouTube channel. This trailer provides a look at character models, combat animations, and how the environments will appear. However, the trailer is currently only available in Korean.
Characters from previous Shining Force titles will appear in Shining Force: Heroes of Light and Darkness. This includes Bowie and Sarah from Shining Force II: The Ancient Seal. Additionally, characters like Mae and Max will also appear in the mobile title. Viewers can get a first look at how these characters will appear through the trailer.
The trailer focuses on gameplay and how it will function in Shining Force: Heroes of Light and Darkness. Gameplay features the same grid system found in previous entries. Additionally, the cut away to a more detailed and up close angle of the counter attack will also appear in Shining Force: Heroes of Light and Darkness.

Shining Force: Heroes of Light and Darkness was announced in August 2021. Developer Hive, a subsidiary under Vespa, revealed that the title will potentially release globally within the first half of 2022.
Shining Force: Heroes of Light and Darkness is currently in development for Android and iOS devices.
