Second Silent Hill: Ascension Trailer Looks at the Experience

Multiple Silent Hill games are on the way, and thereā€™s a new look at the Silent Hill: Ascension ā€œinteractive series.ā€ The trailer notes that this will be more of an adventure line featuring multiple characters who find themselves dealing with the horrors of the town. As such, it means playersā€™ decisions decide what happens. Thereā€™s still no exact release date, but it will appear in 2023 from Behaviour Interactive, Genvid, and Bad Robot Games. Hereā€™s the Silent Hill: Ascension trailer showing off the new gameā€™s characters. It hints that like other entries, the people weā€™ll follow are suffering from some sort of guilt due to their actions. While these protagonists are new, it does look like some monsters reminiscent of past ones appear. For example, it looks like Silent Hill 3ā€™s Insane Cancer might be back. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TP6R0bC4LYI&ab_channel=GenvidEntertainment Genvid also shared an announcement going over what to expect. While traditionally Silent Hill games take place in the town itself, the latest reveal says this new series features people ā€œfrom locations around the worldā€ and notes ā€œentire townsā€ can fall victim to these sorts of happenings. It also notes there will be detailed characters and monsters. The latest update also said that the ā€œlive communityā€ can help determine what happens to the characters. Silent Hill: Ascension will appear in 2023.
