Since the reveal of the Nintendo Switch, the console has garnered a lot of praise and support from various big names in the gaming industry, and now Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida has offered up some favorable comments for Nintendo’s upcoming system as well.

Speaking to DigitalSpy, Yoshida called the Switch a “very unique console,” in addition to noting that he believes it will be “good for core gamers.”

Here’s Yoshida’s comments on the Switch in their entirety:

“I think it’s a very unique system. It’s very interesting that they’ve designed the system to work well with more conventional games in terms of inputs and buttons. So I think it’s good for core gamers and their marketing message focused on that.”

The Nintendo Switch will release sometime in March of 2017, and more details, including an exact release date, are expected to be revealed during an event for the console in January.
