The most recent Jake Hunter game now has a PC release date. People will be able to head to Steam on July 4, 2019 to pick up Alternate Jake Hunter: Daedalus The Awakening of Golden Jazz, the adventure game starring Saburo Jinguji. (As a reminder, Jake Hunter is the name that was used for Saburo outside of Japan.) The PC version will have English, Japanese, Korean, and Traditional Chinese subtitles to accompany the Japanese voice acting. It aill also have achievements and controller support.

 

Alternate Jake Hunter: Daedalus The Awakening of Golden Jazz is a prequel that gives people a chance to see how Saburo got his start. You begin with a tutorial showing his grandfather, Kyosuke, teaching him how to be a good detective. After reminiscing and thinking about that memory, Saburo finds himself back in New York after Kyosuke’s death, determined to find out what happened. Along the way, you’ll encounter new and old friends and learn what made Saburo who he is.

 

In Alternate Jake Hunter: Daedalus The Awakening of Golden Jazz, players have a full 360 degree view of areas around them. They can then look around, pick out clues, and talk to the people they meet to further the story. When talking to people, you will have the option to change Saburo’s stance, which allows him to alter his demeanor and ask different sorts of questions in the hopes of getting the information he needs to solve a case.

 

Alternate Jake Hunter: Daedalus The Awakening of Golden Jazz is immediately available on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. It will come to the PC on July 4, 2019.
