Street Fighter V is not down for the count. Which, well, you would expect from a “champion.” After teasing an announcement on May 26, 2020, Capcom confirmed what most people probably expected. More DLC is on the way to the game. More specifically, Street Fighter V Season V has been confirmed by Capcom Unity.
Details about the Street Fighter V Season V Character Pass are slim at the moment. We know it is on the way and that it will add five characters to the game. The company is also developing three more stages for the game.
There will also be more Street Fighter V costume options. Everyone with Street Fighter V: Champion Edition will find they have color EX09 for their characters now. Capcom doled it out as a free incentive. It is also going to hold a costume contest where the two winners’ designs will be added to the game. This will run until July 21, 2020, and people can send the company JPGs and PNGs that meet the official site’s requirements to Capcom via email. A Twitter vote between August 17-31, 2020 will determine the winners, which will be announced in September 2020.
Street Fighter V: Champion Edition is available for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
