Team Sonic Racing Delay Pushes The Game’s Release Date Into May 2019

Sega has announced a Team Sonic Racing delay. The game will not be appearing in Winter 2018, as originally planned. Instead, it will launch on May 21, 2019.

The announcement was made via the official Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter Account. The statement notes that the Team Sonic Racing delay is a result of a desire to ensure the overall quality of the game.

Hey guys! To make Team Sonic Racing the best game it can be, we’re giving the team extra time to work on it. Our new release date is May 21, 2019.

We know delays are no fun, but quality matters most. Thanks for your patience – we’ve got more to show you for TSR very soon!

Team Sonic Racing will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on May 21, 2019.
