The Townsfolk In Tale Of The Last Promise

While asking fans to name NPCs, Imageepoch also outlined some of the characters Wolf will run into in Tale of the Last Promise.

The cast of side characters includes a young boy (14) and girl (13). Both are cadets at a military academy and studying to become Messiah Knights. The unnamed boy looks up to Wolf, the protagonist in Tale of the Last Promise, and the girl admires Ceres, the female lead.

Players will also talk to a bunch of soldiers in the game. There’s a medic apprentice fresh on the field. She hands out rations in the game and is a big fan of the King of Yggdra’s younger brother. You’ll also meet a commanding officer of the imperial guard who taught Wolf how to be a Messiah Knight. As a way to flesh out the setting, Imageepoch added a history mania soldier who teaches players bits of trivia about Yggdra’s history.

One sad story in the game involves a newly married couple. A husband and wife ran a clothing store in the royal metropolis that was burned down when the Savi Shante attacked a town. During the attack, the husband fled for his life. Now homeless, they live inside the castle where the wife dreams of rebuilding the store.
