Star Factory and Seven Volt announced a new smartphone roguelike game with shooter game elements called Touhou Dungeon Dive. The game will release in Japan in Winter 2020.

The game is a roguelike action title that has elements from the Touhou Project series. You start by selecting a combination of a playable character and a companion character. After that, you choose the progress route and acquired skills, which greatly influence the rewards. The dungeon parts have gameplay that involves shooting and dodging. While taking on dungeons, you can score rare loot and aim for the high score.

Touhou Dungeon Dive will release in Japan for iOS and Android devices in Winter 2020. It will be a free-to-play game with micro-transactions. In other Touhou Project smartphone fangame news, Touhou Cannonball will shut down on October 14, 2020.
