A demo for Toukiden Kiwami will be released in North America and Europe on March 25th. Alongside the news, Koei Tecmo have also released a gameplay video that shows off footage from both the PlayStation 4 and Vita versions.

The demo will include two modes—an introductory mode that comprises of the first two chapters of Toukiden Kiwami, and a second mode featuring special missions for those that have played the original Toukiden. The demo will also let you customize your character like the full game does.

The special missions in the demo feature a high difficulty curve, which Koei says will not exist in the full game. (The full game will have a more gradual difficulty curve.) Completing these special demo missions will allow the player to begin playing the full game from Chapter 8, which is where the “Kiwami” portion of the story begins. Clearing all these missions will also unlock other features in the full game.

Toukiden Kiwami will be released in North America on March 31st and in Europe on March 2th.
