New Nendoroids have been revealed, and this time they are more than meets the eye. Bumblebee and Optimus Prime Transformers Nendoroids are on the way. Each one will be released in December 2020 and is based on the Michael Bay designs from the Transformer line of DreamWorks and Paramount films that include installments like Bumblebee.

Unfortunately, neither one of the Transformer Nendoroids turns into a car. However, they do come with an array of parts and accessories you can use to create different scenes. Their limbs are articulated, for more dynamic poses. Bumblebee has a Battle Mode face part. Bumblebee also has an arm cannon and sword, while Optimus Prime gets an Ion Blaster.

Here are some better looks at the Optimus Prime Nendoroid, with his different hand parts and poses.

And here’s a gallery of Bumblebee images. Both photos of the character with and without the battle mask are shown.

Both the Optimus Prime and Bumblebee Transformers Nendoroids will launch in December 2020. They will be $52.99 each. As for Transformers games, Transformers: Battlegrounds will launch on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 23, 2020. There will also be a Transformers: War for Cybertron Netflix animated series will begin airing on July 30, 2020, with the first six Siege episodes.
