Selfless and honorable, Roland is second in line for the throne after his older brother, Frani. He holds a grudge against Avlora and King Gustadolph for his usurped kingdom. Though the trailer is only in Japanese, it does show new footage from the game. This includes battle sequences. The previous trailer for the game was released at the end of October 2021 and focused on the game’s world.

Bravely Default and Octopath Traveler Producer Tomoya Asano is leading the development of Triangle Strategy. During a stream in March, Asano revealed that the game will take about 50 hours to complete and will have multiple endings.

Triangle Strategy is scheduled to release on Nintendo Switch on March 4, 2022. Pre-orders are now open and a demo is available to play. A physical limited edition of the game will also include a SteelBook, a set of dice, a collectible pack of playing cards, a poster, and a “Diary of Orlaea” box.
