Crossover trading card game Weiss Schwarz (also spelled Weiβ Schwarz) is coming to PSP. At the Bushiroad Card Game Live event, Weiss Schwarz Portable was announced for PSP. The game is said to blend trading card game and a love adventure genres into a single game. Namco Bandai games producer Shohei Itoh is in charge of the project.
Weiss Schwarz features a number of anime and video game series including Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4, Idolm@ster, Disgaea, Shining Force Exa, Fate Hollow, Melty Bloody, and Fairy Tail. Bushiroad are creating cards for Bakemonogatari, Rewrite, Macross F, Idolm@ster 2, Shakugan no Shana, Toaru Majutsu no Index II & Railgun, and Robotics Notes this year.
No specific series were announced for Weiss Schwarz Portable. The PSP game is slated to be released this year.
