What Pokemon Does Carmine Use in the Scarlet and Violet DLC?

Carmine is one of the first characters you meet in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, The Teal Mask. She is also the first person you face in battle in the DLC’s story, making her like a rival in a way. As the older sister to Kieran, she is a brash character you fight several times in The Teal Mask.

All of Carmine’s Pokemon Revealed

Here are all of the Pokemon Carmine has on her team in The Teal Mask, including her ace Pokemon, Poltchageist/Sinistcha:

  • Leavanny: Bug/Grass
  • Mightyena: Dark
  • Morpeko: Electric/Dark
  • Ninetales: Fire
  • Sinistcha: Grass/Ghost

Note that not all of them are going to likely be on her team when you first face off against her in The Teal Mask. In addition, the levels and evolutions may vary depending on how far you are in the game currently. The game scales seemingly based on how far you are in the main game.

For me, having beaten the main story in the base game, her Pokemon were generally in the level 60s. It also wasn’t long before her team was fully evolved, either.

How to Beat Carmine’s Team in The Teal Mask

Here is what you need to do if you want to take down all of Carmine’s Pokemon in the DLC. Bug is surprisingly one of the best typings to bring with you against her, as more than half of her team is weak to it.

In addition, other types like Fighting, Fairy, and Fire are quite common as well so it might be worth considering Pokemon with those typings or moves.

Here are all of the weaknesses for the Pokemon on Carmine’s team:

  • Leavanny: Bug, Flying, Poison, Fire, Rock, and Ice
  • Mightyena: Fighting, Bug, and Fairy
  • Morpeko: Fighting, Bug, Fairy, and Ground
  • Ninetales: Rock, Ground, and Water
  • Sinistcha: Dark, Ghost, Flying, Fire, and Ice

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC Part 1, The Teal Mask, is available for the Nintendo Switch. Part 2, The Indigo Disk, will release in Winter 2023.
