Where is Setekh Wenut in Genshin Impact?

When the Desert of Hadramaveth debuted in Genshin Impact Version 3.4, it brought with it a new location to explore and a new World Boss: Setekh Wenut. The Setekh Wenut is vital for players who have Alhaitham, as he is the only character as of the time of writing who needs the Setekh Wenut’s Pseudo-Stamens. So where can you find Setekh Wenut in Genshin Impact?

It’s actually quite easy. One of the main difficulties in exploring the Sumeru desert region is that a lot of teleport points and important locales are underground. The Setekh Wenut location is technically underground too, but like the Regisvines in Mondstadt, there is an easy way to access it. The Teleport Waypoint to the right of the Passage of Ghouls is where you can find Setekh Wenut.

This Teleport Waypoint is above ground. Right after you access it, you can run north and see a hole in the ground. Once you drop in, you can find the Setekh Wenut. There should be a small group of Fungi hanging about nearby that you can use as a landmark of sorts. Also, there are tons of Sand Grease Pupa in the cavern where Setekh Wenut is. They are also in the tunnels that lead in and out of the area. So this is a great spot in general for farming Pupas or Pseudo-Stamens. People who are building Alhaitham, for example, will likely be spending a lot of time here.

Setekh Wenut is not a difficult boss either. You can fight it in a way similar to how you fight Regisvines. I recommend using powerful DPS or Nuke characters to take maximum advantage of when Setekh Wenut surfaces from the sand. Because it can float in the air, a Bow character is much more useful than other weapons. You should also avoid using Anemo DPS characters, as Setekh Wenut has high Anemo RES and you won’t be able to paralyze it. In order to paralyze Setekh Wenut, you have to destroy his Windbite Bullets with an Element that can react to Anemo.

Genshin Impact is readily available for the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices.
