The Special Program stream for Genshin Impact kicked off by confirming the 3.4 release date. The next update for the game, which is called The Exquisite Night Chimes, will arrive on January 18, 2023. This will mark the debut of new characters, like the five-star Dendro swordsman Alhaitham. There will also be new quests to undertake and events to participate in. A new trailer appeared to act as a teaser for things to come.
First, here’s the Genshin Impact 3.4 release date trailer. It begins by teasing the Lantern Rite. Now that the Sumeru arc is done, there are some interludes before the journey takes the Traveler to a new region. New playable characters like Alhaitham and Yaoyao feature prominently in these segments. So do 3.4 rerun banner characters like Hu Tao and Xiao. There are also peeks at some of the events and activities that will appear as part of the Lantern Rite and on their own.
People have until January 17, 2023 to wrap up some other events and pull on existing banners. The Ayato and Raiden Shogun reruns will appear until that day. There is also an Across the Wilderness event running until January 13, 2023.
Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the 3.4 release date is January 18, 2023.
