Nippon Ichi Software shared the latest on their upcoming PlayStation 4 title, The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2, with a new trailer showing off its characters and plenty of its new and improved gameplay.

The character introduction part starts out with a look at Milm, a girl who gets infected by the “Witch’s Disease” that brings out a third eye on the forehead. After going through a failed operation, she gets awakened as a witch.

We then get to see the main character Chelka, who is actually Milm’s witch form. She has tremendous power and kind of does whatever she feels like. Since her awakening isn’t complete, you’ll see her occasionally go back to her form as Milm. Next is Amalie, Milm’s younger sister. She belongs to an anti-witch group known as Weissritter, or WR. After he sister becomes a witch, she decides to go against the organization’s policy.

Huninmugin was originally just a crow but gets transformed into a butler who takes care of housework. The trailer follows with a look at Cavalry (the Knight), Gabrielle, Lisa, Zophie, Theodor, Isabel, and Prim. We then get a look at some of its improved gameplay that has been renewed to match its story better. Everything from controls and comfort of playing will also be renewed in the sequel.

The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2 releases in Japan on February 23, 2017 for PlayStation 4.
