We also get a good look at two classes that will be released as DLC – Female Gang Head and Demon. From the name, Female Gang Head seems to be limited to female party members, and will have Eri Kamataki firing on enemies with machine guns, and deftly using a naginata to deal wide-range attacks. Meanwhile, the Demon class is described as ‘a dark knight which goes berserk with a guitar’.

Additionally, we get to see more of gameplay elements such as summons. The Mad Dog of Shimano himself, Goro Majima, will personally be available to summon for help as long as you’ve unlocked him and have the money to do so. His sworn brother, Taiga Saejima, is seemingly also a summon, as well as Kiryu Kazuma.

Finally, the trailer reveals that Ijincho and Kamurocho aren’t the only places Ichiban Kasuga will travel to. Sotenbori, the Osaka entertainment district that explorable in Yakuza 0, Yakuza 2, Yakuza Kiwami 2, and Yakuza 5, will return as a map that you can explore.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon releases for PlayStation 4 in Japan on January 16, 2020. Recently, Sega also explained how Human Power will work in battle and how it helps Kasuga’s love life too, which you can read about here.
