Disgaea anime set for Japan.

A deal between Nippon Ichi software and Geneon has already been completed to create an anime based on the popular Disgaea franchise. The release date is set for 2006 in Japan and a US release seems almost imminent. Now if we just had some details about the characters, the world or if this anime is going to set up the sequel.
