Gackt to appear in Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus

It isn’t enough for J-pop star, Gackt to have two songs in Square-Enix’s hybrid shooter cross RPG starring Vincent Valentine. He’s got to star in the game too. Luckily for him character designer Tetsuya Nomura has a part written just for him. This isn’t Gackt’s first appearance in a video game. Lau from Bujingai was designed in Gackt’s image, in fact there’s even an unlockable Gackt skin.

 

Right now we’re not sure how Gackt’s character is going to fit in alongside Cait Sith, but we’ll have a better idea around January 26, 2006 when we get our hands on FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus.
