Xbox 360 backwards compatibility unveiled

By Spencer . November 11, 2005 . 10:04pm

We knew that the 360 would be able to play Halo and Halo 2, but all other games were sort of questionable. As of today Microsoft has made a clear list of what games would play on the 360. Some of the big name titles like Fable, Knights of the Old Republic and Amped were pretty much a given. Other titles that made the list include Sonic Heroes, Ninja Gaiden and pretty much all of the Star Wars games. After looking at the list there’s some obvious omissions of awesome Xbox games like Panzer Dragoon Orta, Jet Set Radio Future, Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix, Castlevania: Curse of Darkness, Phantom Dust and The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Instead the 360 can play Drake 99 Dragons, BMX XXX, and Barbie’s Horse Adventures.

Read the full list to see which games should be backwards compatible.
