Nippon Ichi America slates Spectral Souls for the USA

Spectral Souls is actually a port of the PS2 game Shinki Gensou: Spectral Souls II, but this will be the first Spectal Souls game America will get a chance to try out. In the game switch between three different factions each battling for control over Neverland. Actions you make as Nize, who’s part of the Imperial Army will effect you when you switch over and play as Rose, queen of the Royal Demon Kingdom. This could make for some interesting replay value not seen in other strategy RPGs. Beyond that you have grid based battles, team chain attacks and if you want get into it item creation. But we’re going to have to wait until Fall 2006 to try out the English version. We’ll keep you guys posted with more details on this.
