AtomLost Nico footage
Before the announcement of Shadow of the Colossus, a sequel to Ico was in the works. The game went under the name of Nico (clever since ni means two in Japanese) and this trailer shows a little of what the game had to offer. It starts out with a bunch of people riding horses and ends with a flash of a colossus flight. Except there’s one surprise that Ico fans are bound to get a kick out of. After watching this it’s clear that Nico was the ground work for Shadow of the Colossus.

Only REALLY old! Ico’s model is used because it was easier and cheaper for them than to design a new model. Ueda said it himself.

It is old, but some people haven’t seen the trailer. Since it’s after Shadow of the Colossus it’s interesting to look back at it.
