More dot hack coming to the US

Namco Bandai announced that the next installment in the .hack series, //G.U. is scheduled for a release this fall. In .hack//G.U. players step into the shoes of Haseo who’s hunting down a player killer in the game. Like the other .hack games, GU blends the virtual character’s reality with his in game persona. G.U. lets you interact with other “player characters” through virtual message boards and guilds. Instead of reusing the same interface as the other four .hack games, CyberConnect2 has a brand new battle system and design for the online game called the “world”. Look for .hack//G.U, this May in Japan and later this fall in North America. Expect the other two //G.U. games to follow shortly afterwards.
