IRC on the DS

The DS homebrew scene continues to grow with an IRC program that runs on the Nintendo DS. It’s basic but it allows you to connect to a server via the DS WFC preferences, join channels and chat. Instead of handwriting recognition the program features a virtual keyboard on the bottom touch screen. While the program is basic and there is room for improvement (read: adding in private messaging) it is a nifty application from talented programmers.

Download the program here.

Can i use the ds’s infered download for this or do i need the opera web browser?

Nathan Says:

I have Opeara and it said unsupported format, I would not recomend buying it for I.R.C.

bob. Says:

duhhh you need to run homebrew on your ds.
its not an online client, and opera only runs javascript…
you need a way to play files on your DS…
and illegitimate way..

Nathan Says:

How about the new games and music thing from datel (codejunkies) and try copying the irc to it

Will Says:

Games n’ Music by Datel will run the client, but you can’t configue anything because it won’t save data to you card. I suggest either the M3 or R4 cart for this.
