Hands on with Valkyrie Profile 2 Silmeria

Silmeria is the first brand new game in the Valkyrie Profile series. The game is being developed by Tri-Ace who handled the first title. Tri-Ace took elements from Star Ocean: Till the End of Time and added those in Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria’s battle system. When you encounter a random battle the screen switches into a battle arena. You have four different characters to use and each one is mapped to a different face button (X, circle, square or triangle). Every attack uses up action points, which are shared between all party members. The four player control system is easy to pick up and players will be able to do team attacks in seconds. Outside of battle Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria has 3D areas to explore and players can jump around to collect items. While Silmeria has new features, fans of the series will be happy with the changes. Check below for more screenshots of the game and mark your calendar
