Alone in the Dark returns for next-gen gaming

Before Uwe Boll’s movie bombed the Alone in the Dark series vanished from the market. It is arguably the progenitor of the survival horror genre, which has evolved from adventure gameplay to the action gaming seen in Capcom’s Resident Evil 4. Atari hopes to revitalize the series with a PS3 and Xbox 360 game in the works. Below is the first trailer for the next generation game, which is being developed by Eden Studios.
