Red Sox pitcher becomes an EverQuest villain

Curt Shilling will appear on TV and in your PC during the Yankees versus Red Sox series on June 5-7th. In between pitches you can battle his EverQuest II doppledanger and if you manage to defeat his avatar Sony Online Entertainment will donate $5 dollars to the ALS Association. The ALS Association helps patients with ALS, commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. After the 7th, Shilling’s evil twin will remain in the game as a high level enemy. Curt is a no stranger to the series in fact he’s a fan of it. “The game is a riot. There’s no end to it, the world is enormous, the possibilities are endless, and above all else, it’s a place to go and relax amongst friends. What I can’t get enough of is your ability to interact with real live people. The game’s about teamwork, and knowing the right way to pick and play your class properly in such a way that it complements a group. That’s why EverQuest has stayed so popular.”
