Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is a cult hit in North America. The success of the first game prompted Capcom USA to bring over the sequel. The second game entitled Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice for All is a remake of the Game Boy Advance game. Justice for All has the same formula as the first game where players spend sometime playing detective and the other time in court. There’s a new way to break down witness to tell the truth in court. By breaking down a witness’ “Psyche Lock” state with the right questions or calling them on incorrect testimony will break the lock so the truth can spill out. Instead of the five strikes and you’re out system when dealing with the judge, Phoenix has a life bar. Missing psyche locks and presenting incorrect evidence depletes the life bar. When it’s empty Franziska von Karma, Phoenix’s new prosecutor rival wins. While Justice for All is coming to Europe there are no plans to release for the remake in Japan. Check below for a thumbnail gallery of the game and we’ll bring you guys more info on Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Justice for All as we get it.
What happened to the previous release date of October 2006. I mean, even Capcom’s pre-E3 list said October 2006, I believe, even though they’re recent press release for the game says Q1 2007.
I really think it’d be better to release it before the holiday zerg rush, you know?
The most recent press info says Q1 2007, so we’re going to stick to that unless Capcom says something else. It’s possible that Capcom is holding it back since there’s going to be a double console launch this winter plus a bunch of big franchise titles are coming out in October ‘06.
Good point, I didn’t realize that holiday console sales could interfere with this game’s sales, even though the original apparently sold pretty well. I guess Capcom wants everyone to spend their Christmas money on this game, then? ^^
