AtomPersona 3 teaser trailer
It’s a little on the long side, but this trailer is an awesome introduction to Persona 3. The game is an RPG set in modern times with a group of high school students that have the ability to summon an alter “persona”. Like the recent Shin Megami Tensei games, Persona 3 uses the press turn battle system that gives players and enemies bonus turns for exploiting weaknesses. Check the video to see the killer art style, a preview of the story and combat in action.
Persona 3 comes to Japan in July and to North America sometime in 2007.

It looks interesting, i like the anime chara design. I wonder if they’re going to censore some of the special movies in english version of this game.

Nice. I just wish they were using the character designer they had for Persona 2/Nocturne/Digital Devil Saga.

I loved DDS and DDS2 but I could not stand the ending. After playing over 90 hours between the two I was like “What the hell is this?!?”

dam i hope thius isnt another rare game like most of atlus games because i need this game after beating persona 2….
costed me a whole lotta money to find shin megami tensei nocturne

This is a definate must have for me. I’ve tracked down all the personas i could so far.. even a gameboy persona:revelations. I’m not about to stop now.

Yeah, it’s a shame that Kaneko isn’t doing the chara designs or art for this game, but it’s still gonna be awesome.

A must buy for all cult wierdos. I love the series, especially the Persona spin-offs. A pity that Kaneko didn’t do the character designs. His art was one of the signatures of the series. But I guess that as long as they keep the overall feel and mature theme it will still be a great game. I hope they avoid another sucky ending like the one in the Digital Devil Saga games.

“Long” is an understatement heh. I personally loved Persona 2 (I never got a chance to play Persona 1) and cannot wait for this one.
