well it sounds good to me they gave it a name you can easily remember and that is actually the literal translation for Hakke Rokujuuyon sho because its translates to 8 trigrams 64 palms the dubbers actually did the right thing, but i didnt know neji had 128 strikes in this game

I think somethings alittle strange with this game because sasuke already knows chidori it’s allowying you to do the 128 strikes and it has the same style as the 3rd japanese game and I remember the second japanese game in story mode didn’t have that many levels to fight in and you where slapped with what ever charater the story line said you where with ,not picking a “saga”. Then the fact you have orochimaru playable in this game which would have to be from the forest of death to the death of the third so that means when they release this people will know what happens to the third before they get there in the anime

they made the games from where the manga is. not the anime. this game came out in japan before Nauto fought Gaara. then the manga was just passed the fight the 3rd and Orochimaru had. after this i do believe they based it off the anime to prevent such spoilers again. since this was made from the manga series, it explains why the original and this had shukaku and the 2 hokages blocked out

Alright to answer everyone’s questions:

Symphony - it takes place around the Chunnin Exam preliminary matches at least for the story mode, but as the above video shows Sasuke knows Chidori

Kakeh - you’re right on the money with how the Ultimate Ninja games are set up, they are based on the manga.

seg - this is a preview build so Sasuke *may* call out Chidori or something like that, or maybe there hasn’t been a translation for Chidori yet so that’s why Sasuke doesn’t call anything out. 3 chidoris huh? Let me get back to you on that one.

Hayama - No Japanese voices are in the game, while Namco Bandai really wanted to add them in it just wasn’t possible.

First off i like 2 say this should be a good game graphics and stuff looks good and if it’s anywhere similar 2 SSM then i will be happy. Second if it is a good game it doesn’t matter what they call a move or wat the character sounds like. and third i will like 2 direct this 2 anyone whom it may concern… we will already know all the characters introduced in the game because they are the characters in the series that has been introduced so far. that’s why they had the characters that they did in clash of ninja. and just 2 let u know the last one was directed 2 Jiofreed

som epeople don’t understand that Viz directly translates the script and jutsus. what Neji says is what it really means/ the Fan subs like to change them a bit while keeping thier meaning so it won’t sound wierd. and Chidori trasnlates to 1000 birds, did you really want Viz to translate that and add it to this game?

Neji sounds kind of wierd when he says palms I don’t know what it is but he does. I’m very courious about who the new two people are going to be. Sasuke does say “I will not lose!” he still tecnecally said something. Did the byukugan ever do anything to affect the character like sharingan?

I’m not sure where the 20th came from, but the news straight from Namco Bandai is Naruto: Ultimate Ninja comes out on the 26th.

Alright I want to quell some of the rumors so I’m going to chime in and say that the release date is the 26th. The offical beta that we got and all of the news straight from Namco Bandai tell us (i.e. Siliconera) that the game is coming out on the 26th. Often times retailers have incorrect or not up to date release information so let’s stick to what the Publisher says.

for the record manga is on volume 10 and jiraiya has just been introduced(after kicking ebisu’s butt) chidori has only been seen used by kakashi…just thought I’d point that out sorry to ruin the fun

Sorry to burst you guys bubbles, but the company ships the game on june 26. That doesnt mean that the store will have it. They may get it next week Tuesday. I know for a fact that Gamestop and EBgames is getting it on the 27.

The other ulockable character in demon naruto. It said so in the guide book.

if you buy the naruto collector (the ultimate guide to the ultimate ninja!) in the naruto ultimate ninja section it says 13 playable characters including guy, iruka, and asuma.

Walmart’s not going to have it. Gamestop is the only place that will have it on the 26th. The Sasuke vs. Kakashi took place early in the series and Neji vs. Rock Lee happened in a flashback that Gai had while Rock Lee was fighting Gaara that’s the answer to Symphony’s question. This game also comes out at Best Buy for 10$ less than reular price: 29.99. These clips where tight!

And for the answer to Cole’s qeustion they are going to make a Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2, and they are going to release Naruto: Clash of the ninja 2 sometime in September

gamestop isnt going to get it on the 26 at least not around the east coast beacause i called the store and they said that they will be getting the game around 27/28 as I stated before.

Unlike my parents it seems to me that all of you understand how great this game will be. My father even said ” this game looks boring!” while I was watching the japanese clips at YouTube. If no one here has been there I’ll give you directions on how to get to the site. Type in http://www.Youtube.com after the page comes up youll see a search engine in the top right hand corner. Type in something like Sasuke vs. Neji or something else that deals with Naruto. A page will appear with clips from the T.v show and Naruto: Narutimate Hero ( Japanese version of Ultimate Ninja) click on the clip you want to see. You can thank me later!

usually i just type narutimate and it gives a bunch of videos 300+ or you could just type naruto: ultimate ninja but there are like 60+ videos on that search. I know how you feel sasuke506. My mom sometimes judges the game by it’s cover and says that it is wack. Thats why i dont ask her for games, but for money to go and buy the game myself : )

i believe its toward the end of the chunin exams because they have the stage in the game where the 2nd round of the 1 on 1 battles were. I got the book at ebgames but they had it like 2-3 days after it came out.

hold on let me check the guide book……………yes gaara vs. lee and gaara vs. sasuke are in the scenario mode(story mode), but they dont take place in where the battles took place in the anime.

The gameplay,graphics,item pick up,and modes rival Dragon Ball Z Tenkaichi. But that game got boring after a while.The only difference is that Naruto won’t get boring

Like Itachi Kakashi’s Sharingan makes people see things that aren’t real as shown in the Zabuza sega when he made Zabuza see another of himself in Kakashi. Except Kakashi’s isn’t as effective.

I think that it might be kind of odd to use a move like Kamehameha against a chidori.

It may feel awkward for all who have played each series in their individual games. The controlls would have to be unified.

There’s one thing I don’t get is why they didn’t release the Playstation 3 and Wii before Christmas so that more people would buy it. Releasing it in the middle of 06 dosen’t make any since to me. People are probably still recooperating from last Christmas. No ones really going to buy it now. But in the D.O.N story mode I think that they should bring each character together piece by piece.

LOL its not to hard and i think that even a monkey may know how since all you have to do is finish the saga modes for the characters. They should have made it a bit more challenging like the first budokais.

At the end of the Lee vs. Gaara battle if you collect manga you’ll see that Lee unlcks four gates,uses the reverse Lotus, uses the forward Lotus and Gaara was protected bye a thin sand armour.And the attcks barely touched Gaara. That’s unbeleivable!

Wow, they should have put that in the anime instead, but the anime put the viewers in suspense since the sand could not catch up to Gaara, but he turned his gourd into sand to protect him. I meant to ask you, why is your name in blue?

In Naruto: Ultimate Ninja I’d really love to pintSasuke and Neji against each other since they don’t fight in the anime at all. I think that’s a fight we are all looking forward to.
