Two weeks ago we posted an article about non Nintendo “Dream characters in Super Smash Brothers Brawl” where we picked out a handful of mascots and stars that we hope will make the Smash Brothers cut. Sonic, Lloyd (Tales of Symphonia) and Mega Man were popular choices from our list. While our readers posted their thoughts and made some cool picks.
Black Shadow suggested Ark from Terranigma (Super Nintendo). Terranigma was part of Enix’s Soul Blazer series, but was only released in English for Europe. Although unlikely, Ark could fill the role of a melee fighter in Super Smash Brothers Brawl.
Going really old school, Jon suggested King Hippo from Punch Out to be in the game. Awesome pick! If Kid Icarus can make a come back maybe King Hippo or Little Mac will appear in Super Smash Brothers Brawl.
Perhaps the most unique suggestion comes from the_importer who picked out the L shape block from Tetris as a joke character. A Tetris character would be hilarious; maybe for special attacks the block can drop other shapes from the sky.
Lastly, Crono was singled out a couple of times. Even though he was in one game and had a single text box of speech in the game everybody loves the time traveling hero. Crono already has plenty of attacks to draw upon like the cyclone slash, lightning magic and of course luminaire.
