In the past fifteen years in his existence, Sonic has crushed Dr. Robotnik (Eggman) multiple times, bounced around in a pinball game, raced on hoverboards and was the face of Sega for many, many years. Not bad for a teenager and considering that most Hedgehogs have a lifespan of up to ten years Sonic is doing good for himself. North America celebrates Sonic’s birthday with new lock on games to play via Gametap, While Japan gets a bunch of limited edition Sonic merchandise for sale.
