Trusty Bell: Chopin no Yume (Chopin’s Dream) is a brand new RPG developed by Namco Bandai games for the Xbox 360. Yeah, the game is centered around the 19th century composer, but you don’t play the game on Earth. The story takes place in a dream Chopin had before he passed away. The dream world bestows magical powers to those plauged by illness. While this is Chopin’s world the story begins with Allegretto, a sixteen year old boy who is your typical good hearted, robin hood-esque protagonist. The idealistic thief has a crush on Polka and wants to heal her. Like Chopin, Polka is near death, she needs a special kind of medicine formulated from flower extract to survive. Since the medicine is expensive Polka is left close to death, but this gave her new magic powers. Polka decides to use her new found abilities to help others. In combat Polka attacks with an umbrella and Allegretto uses a sword. Namco Bandai recruited tri-crescendo who worked on Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria, Radiata Stories and Baten Kaitos II to develop Trusty Bell. Check out the screenshot gallery below to see the excellent use of cel-shading.

That game looks interesting. Hopefully I'll be able to find a friend who will let me borrow their 360 if that is ever brought stateside.

Wow, the graphics look awesome! I might have to pick this up if it comes out in the US (and is decent).
