Dance to your own CDs with Dance Factory

Out of all the DDR clones Dance Factory is the most interesting one to date. Not because it has flashy graphics, complex mods, choreographed steps or a 1,000 page song list. What Dance Factory has going for it is that the game makes dance routines from regular audio CDs. Just pop in an audio CD and Dance Factory does all of the work. Once the steps are made players can use their dance mat or the EyeToy to play. It’s an interesting concept and if it gets it right (i.e. not make random steps) Dance Factory could be some serious competition to DDR. I wonder what would happen if you put in a DDR soundtrack into Dance Factory… I guess we’ll have to wait until Summer when the game is released to try that out.
