Production I.G. shows new “Ghost” and talks about “Para Para”

At Anime Expo, Production I.G. showed a preview clip of Ghost in the Shell: Solid State Society. Few details were revealed about the story except that it will involve the Laughing Man and the Individual 11. After seeing the trailer Production I.G. had a surprise announcement. They spoke about the possibility of developing an anime based on the Para Para dance style. While a few members of the audience clapped, many people “booed” the concept. The representative from Production I.G. then explained that they could develop this into a superhero anime mixed with Para Para. Nothing is finalized on this project and it seems like Production I.G. was testing the waters to see if this is something they would venture beyond action anime titles like Ghost in the Shell and IGPX.

BlueNocturne Says:

Production IG have produced many, many more shows than just Ghost in the Shell and IGPX.. I dont even think IGPX is worth mentioning.
