Every year at Anime Expo people dress up like Rikku, Cloud, and Mario. While wandering around the halls we tried to snap shots of some of the more interesting costumes like these two that dressed up like Pyramid Heads from the Silent Hill series. Darrell, one of the people who made the costume said that they are huge helmets are made out of foamboard.

Check past the jump for a group of Kingdom Hearts 2, Tetris brick, Katamari and Beatmania controller.

Props for wearing this life size Cait Sith costume outside in the 100 degrees of California sunshine.

A bunch of people dressed up like Kingdom Hearts 2 characters, but this group was the only one with a Shadow heartless.

This costume was seriously one of the coolest at the show. It’s Trance Freya from Final Fantasy IX and the suit lights up.

There is actually a person in the Tetris block and he was challenging others to a game of Tetris DS inside it.

Lastly, one for all of the Beatmania fans a person dressed up as a Beatmania II DX controller.
