I saw this in Hi-Def on Gamespot when it was released last month and I cannot wait for this game.

The Xenosaga series is already one of my favorites of all time due to the incredibly in-depth story and engaging battle system. A story that has so many subtle and overt nods to theology and philosophy (Gnosticism, the Testaments, Nietzschean ideology, etc..) with a twist at the end of the second one that made me go “Wtf?!?”

They have stated that the third one has about 8 hours of cut-scenes in it which is more than the second but less than the first. This will piss off people who didn’t like that element of the first, but this game is for people who love the series so screw em.

*cough* Prophet*. I can’t wait for the third, but I must say, I’m pretty disheartened that they screwed up the second so badly that the fourth-seventh were cancelled.
