Fond memories of Secret of Mana

Plenty of retro gamers have fond memories of Secret of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 2), a three player action RPG developed by Squaresoft back in the Super NES days. One gamer took the classic tiny poster packaged with the SNES game and blew it up to make this mega poster.

Cool stuff huh? Check below for the original Japanese ad spot for the game. It shows gameplay footage as part of a mock news report where Flammie is the reporter.

Ok I want that poster. I have the original SNES one hanging in my office at work

Ah, we loved that game. The fact the sequel never made it to the US was, in hindsight, the beginning of my not-quite-so-painful breakup with Squaresoft games.

Revchu Says:

That was such awesome art, I still have it on my wall from the Nintendo Power it was in. I forget which issue, but it had Yoda on the cover.

Renzo Says:

I want a Flammie doll! Where can I get one?

One of the best games ever, oh yeah!
