EA brings six franchises to Wii

By Spencer . July 14, 2006 . 7:45am

Electronic Arts announced that they have six new titles in the works for Wii based on some of their popular franchises. In the future Wii owners will get a chance to play Madden NFL Football, Need for Speed, Harry Potter, Tiger Woods PGA Tour, SSX and The Godfather games on the Wii. It will be interesting to see how EA plans to use the Wiimote for these games. It’s given that the controller can be used to emulate golf swings, we’ve seen that in Super Swing Golf Pangya. Using the controller as Harry’s magic wand is another easy solution. But what about SSX and the Godfather?

My guess is, they’ll use it as a gun in godfather, and maybe as a mini snowboard in SSX, that’s if they use it at all…or they’ll find a crap use for it, who knows
