Trinity Blood coming to Adult Swim

In the revised schedule there is a “mystery show” airing on Saturday nights right after Bleach at 12:30 AM. The big secret is actually, Trinity Blood a post apocalyptic anime series set in the middle of a war between humans and vampires. In the first episode we’re introduced to Able Nightroad a clumsy priest who is part of the Vatican. Although his initial appearance is deceiving, Able Nightroad is a Crusnik a being that feeds on vampires. As the episode unfolds viewers are introduced to a shadow organization manipulating the war, but for what purpose? The series’ animation is done by Gonzo (Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo) and Funimation is handling the North American release. Trinty Blood debuts on North American TV on Sept. 9, the same day as Bleach.
