Rebirth for the Mega Man Battle Network series

Capcom has a new site up for Rockman Rebirth, the next evolution of Mega Man. The game is clearly based off of the Mega Man Battle Network (Rockman EXE) series. Like Battle Network combat takes place on a grid. In Rockman Rebirth the grid is 3×5 squares wide and is on the top screen. The bottom screen has six battle chips that players can select with the touch screen. In the game players will alternate between the real world where they control Subaru and the cyber world. Rockman Rebirth also has another surprise for fans of the EXE / Battle Network series, the Nintendo WiFi symbol on the game’s home page. Could there be online battle chip fights?

This screenshot showcases how battles are played on the DS Lite. While the perspective and controls changed slightly, Rockman Rebirth is similar to the EXE series.

I prefer the crisp, cool Sprites to the patchy 3D
However wiFi and maybe new soul combos would be good

It looks good but..another battle Network? Not much of a rebirth..I wish they'd bring back the classic megaman, he was just the best hands down.

....hmm It looks ok,but I'm going to miss the old MegaMan.EXE. This series is more of a spin off and has nothing to do with Lan,Mayl,Dex,MegaMan,Roll,etc. That "navi" or FM-ian is called Omega-Xis. And guess what no more Bass.EXE battle chips or secret battles with him.MegaMan does make a few cameos,but at least we know that MMBN 6 ended happily.

But I'm going to miss the old.

Megaman again? The only megaman game in bn series is bn3,4. This is nothing. So bored after playing bn6.

This game really sucks and Forte.Exe, where did he go??? If no one resurrects Rockman.Exe bn, then I will. (When I get though collage, which is in 3 years.)
The story line really sucks big time!

I havent play this game yet but i have my own opinion.

Capcom shouldnt stop the Megaman Battle Network series.

It is a big loss for the fans ( for me too ).

Lots of people looking forward on Megaman Battle Network 7 , but i guess it would not come out ...

For the Capcom .. pls re-think and consider our ( fans ) opinion tq..

pls capcom i beg of capcom leaders pls bring back MEGAMAN BATTLE NETWORK ,megaman star force just isint competable with megaman battle network, i have all megaman battle network games all brand new in mint condition . megaman battle network can besed on sigma the virus right like the head of sigma in megaman battle network graphics as final boss cause sigma is virus just like gospel, gregar, falzar. megaman battle network 7 is an officcal number,but ending in megaman battle network 6, number 6 isint the perfect number to end the battle net work seires.to tell the truth megaman battle net work has my respect and a game that makes strategy thank you capcom for hearing me out , and i look forward for a decision

people pls know more than ever we need all megaman battle network fans to talk more about megaman battle network . ive played megaman star force and it dosent fell like megaman battle net work its the chips the main game beast like leo, dragon , pegasus, and beat game and it dosent have the perfectness that megaman battle network has like pdas mega chis it has more souls, maybe if capcom leaders reconsider the new megaman battle network with wi-fi connection play against other players extremely cool mega chips , giga chips ,standarad chips . it could be for nintendo ds or even better PSP the controls arent so difficult jusy like ds just different letter in bottons like a can be x for psp , b can be for o for megabuster . megaman battlenet work 7 it will have better graphic because its in psp or ds . capcom litsen to this square enix is making a buch of money cause they kingdom harts they so many games of kingdomharts there making big bucks there fans are weling to wait 2 year or more for kingdom hearts 368 2 days and also kingdom harts coded,Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep is for ds, psp , moble. we megaman battle network fan can as long just for megaman battle work 7 its the perfect ending if capcom reconsiders thanks again capcom for hearing me out .
