Before Sega released Yakuza (Ryu ga Gotoku) in Japan they released a live action prequel movie. The film is directed by Miike Takashi who made the controversial cult film Ichi the Killer. Sega sold the film as a DVD in Japan for around $43, but Sega of Europe is hosting the movie online with English subtitles for free. The 40 minute flick is being split into four parts and the first episode is online for your viewing pleasure.

The short film was also viewable for free online around the Japanese release.

$43 seems a bit much, but for free it seems pretty darn good in my opinion.
