Most expensive copy of Resident Evil ever

By Spencer . August 25, 2006 . 10:26am

Resident Evil was a great game back when it was first released. While a fan favorite, it isn’t exactly the rare commodity that Panzer Dragoon Saga is. Capcom reprinted the game multiple times with a PS1 Greatest Hits Director’s Cut and remade the game twice for two different Nintendo systems. But look at this copy of Resident Evil, it has a long box! That surely makes it worth $1000 right?

Actually I have a friend that found a long box Resident Evil just like this at a Gamestop near us and bought it. So, it just might be the real thing.

cham Says:

Wow dj, you sure convinced me. I can’t believe how I didn’t notice that the Playstation logo aint even on the position properly! Well done!

Helegad Says:

Look guys, it’s real. Search for Resident Evil Long Box on Google. They’re worth alot nowadays as this was the first print of Resi Evil. I just bought one off eBay!

The reason that this one is worth $1000 is that it’s still factory sealed. THAT’S worth the grand.

James Says:

Any one know where I can find one, and not for this outrageous price? I know that it is worth at least 350 but no way I’ll pay that.
