Platinum hits coming to the Xbox 360

Microsoft is starting up the discount platinum hits line for the Xb0x 360 on October 15. Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo: Elements of Power, Project Gotham Racing 3 and Need for Speed: Most Wanted will all drop to $29.99 a piece. The price drop is a good idea, but will the $29.99 price point have the same impulse purchase effect as $19.99? In Spring 2007 Microsoft will add another group of titles to the platinum hits lineup.
