Microsoft said that there would be some new Xbox Live Arcade news and we have it. New games are coming from Konami include Track & Field, Gyruss, Rush’n Attack, Contra and Super Contra. Japan is getting a bonus exclusive game, Yie Ar Kung Fu, a classic, but clearly dated martial arts game. Think of Yie Ar Kung Fu as the great grandfather of 2D fighting games. New titles from Namco Bandai Games are in the works too. Dig Dug, New Rally X and Ms. Pacman are all Xbox Live bound.
Speaking of Pac-Man, Microsoft is hosting the first Pac-Man World Championship next year. The top ten Pac-Man players on Xbox Live will be brought to New York to compete for the title.
