Mario battles Dragon Quest slimes in Itadaki Street DS

Yuji Horii’s monopoly inspired, Itadaki Street series, started out on the Famicom. Adding Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest characters to the board game gave the series extra attention and a new audience. Instead of pulling in Vaan from Revenant Wings or characters from DQH: Rocket Slime for Itadaki Street DS, Square-Enix turned towards Nintendo. Itadaki Street DS is going to feature Dragon Quest and the world of Super Mario. This means new Mario themed boards, Super Mario cards and the slight possibility that the game will be localized. Should the Itadaki Street series step outside of Japan?
