Four new battle arenas for SNES Super Mario Kart

Even though most of the world has moved on from Super Mario Kart to Mario Kart DS or Mario Kart Double Dash, OK Impala has a new enhancement for the classic kart racing game. The Super Mario Kart – Impala Battles patch adds in four new battle mode stages to play on. One of the new areas is more maze-like than the open arenas found in other Mario Kart battle arenas. The key to this isn’t just grabbing items and throwing them, you have to drift around corners to hit your opponent with a Koopa shell. Another course has rugged terrain, which makes it tough to drive on. Download the patch and boot up ZSNES to relive Mode 7 battles all over again.
