Gamestop opens Wii reservations on Friday

GoNintendo breaks all the rumors with an official e-mail from Gamestop stating that they will begin pre-orders for the Wii on Friday, October 13. Since Nintendo is releasing one million Wiis in North America at launch there isn’t likely to be as much of a shortage as the Playstation 3. But if you really want a system it won’t hurt to wake up early on Friday morning. The Wii costs $249.99 and comes bundled with one remote plus Wii Sports.
