An Xbox 360 faceplate coated with real gold?

I’ve seen my fair share of faceplates, but never an official gold plated Xbox 360 faceplate. One is up on eBay and it is one out of a hundred limited edition launch faceplates. The seller started the auction at $500 with no takers. Even though this is a bling item, I can’t imagine it looking good when it’s placed on the Xbox 360. Hell my Zero Hour faceplate looks stupid on my 360.

    All faceplates don't seem to look very good with a 360; Having a completely white 360 with a completely different color faceplate doesn't look right.

    pimps every where rejoice, for now you can pimp out your xbox 360.
  • Biggest problem is, if a certain 360 I knew is any indication, it would melt along with any game inside after accidentally being left on 7 hours. And $500 is a lot to have to clean out of the carpet.
