Nintendo announces Virtual Console titles

Between launch day (November 19) and the end of December, 30 games will arrive on the Virtual Console. The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario 64, Bonk’s Adventure and Sonic the Hedgehog make the initial list. If you’re wondering where Super Mario Brothers is, it is going to come out at later time. Nintendo is going to release new games on the Virtual Console each month.

SNES (800 points / $8): F-Zero, SimCity
N64 (1000 points / $10): Super Mario 64
Sega Genesis (800 points / $8): Sonic the Hedgehog, Altered Beast, Golden Axe, Columns, Ecco the Dolphin, Gunstar Heroes, Space Harrier II, Toe Jam & Earl, Ristar, Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine
TurboGrafx16 (600 points / $6): Bonk’s Adventure, Super Star Soldier, Victory Run, Bomberman ’93, Dungeon Explorer

 

Additionally Japan’s line up gets two additional Hudson titles Necromancer and Adventure Island for the PC Engine/TurboGrafx 16.

Update 1: The full Japanese Virtual Console list is below. There are a number of additions like Super Mario Brothers, Gradius, R-Type III and the revelation of 900 point SNES games such as Zelda: A Link to the Past.
